High-toned, perfumed aromas of black raspberry and coffee. Wonderfully sweet, deep and fresh, with a distinctly aromatic quality to its black raspberry and spice flavors. Best today on the back end, which features suave, sweet tannins and lovely lingering perfume. This cuvee has been elevated to a higher level since 2005. Meo notes that it now includes 10% replanted vines that were selected to give riper fruit. This new component may be adding sugar to the blend and giving the wine a more voluptuous texture. 93 points
